House rules for THE MOMENTS COTTAGE

Welcome to THE MOMENTS COTTAGE! We want you to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing stay. If you treat the house as if it were your own, you can’t go wrong. Please take a moment to read through the following house rules. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation!

1. General information

THE MOMENTS COTTAGE is rented exclusively to one party. You are therefore the only guest during your stay and have unrestricted use of all areas of the house and the outdoor facilities.
Please treat the house and furnishings with care. Any damage that occurs during your stay should be reported immediately.

2. Arrival and departure

Check-In: from 16:00
Check-Out: until 10:00 am
Please keep to the agreed times to ensure cleaning and preparation for the next guests.

3. Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside THE MOMENTS COTTAGE. However, you may smoke on the terraces and in the outdoor area. Please use the ashtrays provided.

4. Pets

Pets are only allowed in THE MOMENTS COTTAGE by prior arrangement. Please ensure that pets do not sleep on furniture or beds.

5. Rest periods

Please respect the night-time silence from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am. Excessive noise should also be avoided during the day to ensure the peace and quiet of the neighbours and other holiday guests in the area.

6. Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances (hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, etc.).
Please clean the used crockery and leave the kitchen in a clean condition.

7. Television

There is a television in every room. Please make sure to operate the devices properly and switch them off when you leave the house.
After use, the remote controls should be attached to the magnetic holders on the wall so that they are always to hand and do not get lost.

8. Sun terrace

The sun terrace is equipped with sun loungers and a parasol. Please fold up the parasol in strong winds and overnight to avoid damage.

9. Whirlpool terrace

The whirlpool is at your free disposal.
Please use the whirlpool with consideration so as not to disturb the peace and quiet of the neighbours.

10. Terrace with barbecue

A barbecue is available in the outdoor area. Please use the barbecue responsibly and clean it after each use.

11. Outdoor seating set

The outdoor seating area can be used at any time. Please close the parasol when it is raining or not in use to protect it from the weather.

12. Bedroom and bathroom

THE MOMENTS COTTAGE has 4 bedrooms. Each room has its own bathroom (shower and washbasin).
Please note that there are a total of 2 toilets in the house. We ask you to keep the toilets and bathrooms clean.

13. Waste disposal

Bins for residual waste are located at the side of the house. Please dispose of your rubbish there.
Waste is collected almost daily. If the bin is full, please let us know so that we can dispose of the waste in good time.

14. Energy saving

We ask you to use energy and water sparingly. Switch off the lights and appliances when you leave the house and do not leave any taps running unnecessarily.
The tap water is brought by boat, so we ask you to be particularly careful with your water consumption.

15. Key

You will receive a key for the house on arrival. Please do not lose this, as we have to charge a fee for a lost key.

16. Liability

The landlord is not liable for accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur during the stay on the property. The use of the house and the outdoor facilities is at your own risk.

17. Toilets

Please do not dispose of waste such as sanitary towels, tampons, wet wipes, paper towels or other non-decomposable items in the toilets. Only normal toilet paper is accepted. As there is no sewer system but a cesspit, other waste can interfere with decomposition in the cesspit and cause blockages.

18. House is barefoot area

THE MOMENTS COTTAGE is a barefoot area. Please leave your shoes outside or put them in the shoe rack in the corridor on the ground floor.
